In the Arab Basketball Championship for Youth: Egypt Scores Over 100 Points Sending Out a Warning To All The Teams

The Egyptian National team, the Champion of Africa and the tenth of the world, sent out a stern warning to all the teams participating in the Arab Basketball Championship for Youth currently held in Cairo. Egypt clinched a great win over the green Saudi team scoring 101/32 after a one-sided game showing their outstanding skills and capabilities under the commandment of their eminent coach Amr Abu-Elkheir. The scores of the quarters were as follows:

21/12, 33/7, 26/9, 21/4.

The game was officiated by the international referee Salem El-Zoabi.

On the other hand, Rashid El-Qbi, the supervisor of the Emirati national team commented on the defeat of his team before Qatar in the beginning of the championship saying that the result is not their main concern, yet the participation in this championship would help them in the preparation of the Gulf Championship, hosted by Emirates at the end this month, qualifying for Asian Finals in Iran in which two teams will be qualified. He also added that the national team has undergone harsh circumstances before coming to Cairo, first of which was the injuries whereas he only sufficed by an internal preparation for three weeks in Dubai and Khor. He also hoped that the performance and the results would get better in the next stages. It is noteworthy that the first part of the preliminary stage will be ended tomorrow Saturday by three games Saudi Arabia vs. Qatar; Kuwait vs. Egypt; and Algeria vs. Emirates.
