Amr Abu El-Kheir, the coach of the Egyptian national team: Our game against Algeria is an open book and the court is the decisive criterion; the tenth of the world is just a number and our goal is to attain the European level

The biggest issue in the Championship presently is the final game between Egypt and Algeria and the demand on the part of the Egyptian fans to restore their reputation and punish the desert warriors who caused the only defeat for the hosting team in the preliminary. The lovers of the Egyptian national team go further and demand not only the defeat, but inflicting a heavy defeat for their stubborn contender. Upon asking Captain/ Amr Abu El-Kheir, the technical manager of the Egyptian national team about his view of these expectations, he replied: we do not give much attention for what is said in the Egyptian street or for the emotional language, we will act logically, because the competitor is not easy and have a big experience, and the only criterion will be the court as the game is an open book that will go for the diligent team. Abu El-Kheir continued saying that his team committed several mistakes in the previous game before Algeria hoping that these mistakes would not be repeated in the competition that will decide who is the Champion. He also added that seven of his players were busy with their general secondary certificate examinations, among which four were from other governorates coming to the court only in the time of the games, and normally these circumstances would affect their performance in the court. Aside from the championship, Abu El-Kheir asserted that coming at the tenth place in the last World Championship is just a number that did not represent their ambitions; and that their main aim is to attain the European level.
