Arab Basketball Clubs Draw No. 34: The defending champion in the second iron group

The draw for the 34th Arab Clubs Basketball Championship, which will be held in Kuwait from the 5th to the 15th of next month, classified Al-Ahly of Egypt, the defending champion, in the second iron group, which includes both Lebanon Al-Riyadi, the former Asian and Arab champion, the Qatari Al-Gharafa and the Yemeni Al-Minaa, while the first group included Kuwait, the host club and the runner-up of the previous tournament, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, the record holder, Al-Ahly of Aleppo, the Syrian, and Al-Ahly of Libya, while the third group included Al-Ahly of Bahrain, Al-Bashaer of Oman, Kazma Al-Kuwaiti, Al-Sadd Al-Qatari, and the fourth group, Al-Jahra, Kuwait, Beirut, Lebanon, Wedad Boufarik, Algeria, and Degla Al-Iraqi. The draw took place this afternoon via the Arab Union website, in the presence of Dr. Magdi Abu Freikha Vice President of the Arab Federation, President of the Egyptian Federation, who conveyed the greetings of Major General Ismail Al Karkawi, President of the Arab and Emirati Basketball Federations, and his wishes for the success of the championship, also Brigadier General Abdullah Shalabi, Secretary General of the Arab Union, and Sherif Ahmed Zaki, General Manager of the Union.
