Inviting Bahrain to participate in the Arab Basketball Championships, Al Karkawi: Manama deserved the Asian Super League

Major General M. Ismail Al-karkawi, President of the Arab and UAE Basketball Federations, congratulated Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Bahraini Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Public Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Olympic Committee, on the occasion of Bahraini Manama winning the Asian Basketball Super League title and its qualification to the finals of the continental championship after Defeating Kuwait in the final game hosted by Al-Ahly Youth Club . Al- Al-karkawi also thanked Sheikh Khaled for his directives in allocating a plane that transported Bahraini fans to Dubai to support Manama in the final. Al- Al-karkawi invited the Bahraini teams and clubs to participate in the Arab championships, in addition to Bahrain's organization of the competitions organized by the Arab Federation, saying that Bahraini basketball has achieved great successes at the Gulf and Asian levels, and has a large and remarkable public presence, which helps the success of any tournament hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. Regarding his assessment of the results of Al-Ahly Youth, the representative of the Emirates, Al- karkawi said that the team faced, a few days before the start of the tournament, very difficult circumstances that affected its results and its distance from the competition circle, It was represented by the forced change of foreign professionals players after one of them was injured and the second traveled due to his family circumstances, in addition to the return of Qais Omar, one of the most important players of the teams from injury, which caused the team to lose the required harmony.
