In the Arab Junior Basketball Championship, Egypt surpasses the 100 barrier and takes the lead, while Tunisia beats Algeria

 

In the Arab Basketball Junior Championship hosted by Jordan, coinciding with the junior championship, the Egyptian team retained the top spot in the rank after its great victory over its Jordanian counterpart 101/39 at the end of the second round, raising its score to four points from two consecutive victories, and one match remained ahead of it with Algeria at the end of the preliminary round. The Egyptian team scored in the four periods 29/11, 18/11, 32/11 and 22/6, while its player Hanaa Al-Jawla scored the highest score, 19 points. For its part, Tunisia retained the second place after its victory over its neighbor Algeria 59/47. The results of the periods were as follows : 14/14

,17/17 and 21/6 in favor of Tunisia against 7/11 for Algeria in the last half. The highest score in the match was for the Tunisian player Enas Ragab, 20 points.
