The final of Arab basketball tonight in Dubai, Tunisia is looking for the fifth star and Lebanon is looking for the first title.

 

Tonight, is the final of the 24th Arab Basketball National Teams Championship for Men in Rashed ben Hamdan Hall at El Nasr Club in Dubai by meeting Tunisia and Lebanon at 06:00 pm Emirates time; 04:00 pm Beirut time, the third-place game between Algeria and Somalia will be before it at 04:00 pm local time. As experts expected that Tunisia and Lebanon are nominated for the gold medal and to return with the cup which has the name of the passed Sheikh Hamdan Ben Rashed Al Maktoum; that why they raised the slogan “all ways lead to Beirut and Tunisia” and their expectations came true.

If the Lebanon national team was looking for the first Arab title after achieving the second place after Egypt in the Championship held in Cairo 2010 and third place at Iraq 1974, the Tunisia national team who came after Egypt who had the title 12 times is looking for getting the title of fifth star as he won that championship 4 times at 1981, 1983 in Tunisia and Jordan and in 2008, 2009 at Tunisia and Morocco while it was the first runner in Cairo 2002 and he won the third place twice in Egypt and Syria 1991, 1992.
