The 19th version of the Arab Basketball Championship for Youth will come to a close this evening in the venue of El-Zohour Club. The organizing committee takes into consideration the time of Ahly and Zamalek summit in the football cup final game that will be held at nine (local time), instead the game of Qatar vs. Kuwait to decide the third and fourth places will be held at 3, followed by the final game between Egypt and Algeria at 5, succeeded by the distribution of the gold, silver, and bronze medals on the teams coming in the first three place. The summit between Egypt and Algeria remains the most important event, as being considered rehabilitation for the hosting team after his defeat in the preliminary with the score of 76/73. In that game the Egyptian player/ Mohamed Ahmed scored 28 points whereas the two Algerian players Captain/ Bin Salah and Shekieb scored 24 points each. Both coaches Amr Abu El-Kheir and Farouk El-Seifi agree on the difficulty of the game and confirm that the circumstances of today's game are completely different than those of the previous one, because the present game will determine the champion from one part, and from the other part because the Egyptian national team tries to kill two birds with one stone restoring his reputation and obtaining the eleventh title and the highest score of titles in this championship, succeeded by the Syrian national team with four titles.
